
Air India Express has started direct flights from Hindon Airport to Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Jammu and Kolkata. A total of 40 weekly flights will be operated. This airline has become the first company to serve two airports in NCR. This will provide quick connectivity to passengers of many areas including Ghaziabad, Meerut, Noida. Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu inaugurated these services.
New Flight Service: Air India Express will operate flights from Hindon Airport to cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Jammu and Kolkata. The first flight on the Kolkata-Hindon route landed at 09:30 am, while the first flight from Hindon to Goa departed at 10:40 am.
Air India Express will operate 40 weekly flights from Hindon Airport, directly connecting five major destinations – Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Jammu and Kolkata.
Air India Express, a Tata venture and a subsidiary of Air India, operates over 400 daily flights connecting 39 domestic and 16 international airports with a fleet of 99 aircraft, including 63 Boeing 737s and 36 Airbus A320s. It aims to strengthen connectivity in the National Capital Region (NCR). Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu inaugurated the Air India Express services from Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad.
Air India Express becomes the first airline to serve two airports in NCR
With operations from both Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) and Hindon Airport (HDO), Air India Express has become the first airline to serve the National Capital Region from two airports. This strategic expansion will provide connectivity to people of North and East Delhi NCR as well as Western Uttar Pradesh.
Key areas like Ghaziabad, Meerut, Noida as well as Akshardham, Anand Vihar, Chandni Chowk, Indirapuram, ITO, Karol Bagh, Vaishali etc. will be easily connected with the new air services. This will provide quick access to the National Capital Region to people coming from Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa and Kolkata.

Air India Express Managing Director Alok Singh said, “As the Indian air market grows and matures, metropolitan areas can be served by multiple airports, as we see in cities like London, New York and Tokyo. Services from Hindon will complement our extensive operations from Indira Gandhi International Airport, from where we serve 18 domestic and four international destinations.”
