Like DTC Bus, now you can get a pass for Delhi Metro also. If you want to visit Delhi, then you can travel as much as you want at low cost through Tourist Smart Cards. The validity of this card is 1 day and 3 days.
According to the website of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), tourist smart cards are available in two categories of one-day validity and three-day validity cards. With this tourist smart card, passengers can travel unlimitedly in the Delhi Metro network. Tourist Smart Card with one day validity will be available for just Rs 200. Whereas a card with validity of 3 days will be available for Rs 500. This amount includes Rs 50 as refundable security deposit. Seen this way, effectively you have to spend only Rs 150 for a tourist card with one day validity and Rs 450 for a tourist card with three days validity.
Where can you buy tourist card
Tourist card can be purchased from the customer care center of any station. The thing to keep in mind here is that the tourist card is applicable only on DMRC lines. This card will not be applicable for traveling in Airport Express Line.
