New Metro Rail: The DPR of this new metro route was prepared by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation last month and submitted to NMRC, Noida Authority and Greater Noida Authority, after which now NMRC i.e. Noida Metro Rail Corporation has also approved this DPR.
A good news has also come with the new year for the people of Noida. To make the travel of the city residents more comfortable and to increase the connectivity between Delhi-Noida, it has been decided to soon build a new metro route in Noida which will be built between Botanical Garden Metro Station and Sector 142. The DPR (Detail Project Report) prepared for this has been approved by NMRC (NOIDA METRO RAIL CORPORATION).
Actually, the DPR of this new metro route was prepared by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation last month and submitted to NMRC, Noida Authority and Greater Noida Authority, after which now NMRC i.e. Noida Metro Rail Corporation has also approved this DPR. After discussion on this DPR in the board meeting of NMRC, it has been approved by NMRC i.e. now the pictures of the new metro route in Noida are almost clear, a total of 8 metro stations are to be built on this metro line and the entire metro route is Estimated length is 11.56.
The new metro route will improve the connectivity of Noida and Greater Noida with Delhi. This route from Blue Line Botanical Garden will be connected to Sector 142 Aqua Line, which means it is going to be very convenient for the passengers going from Delhi to Greater Noida. Now Indira Gandhi International Airport will be directly connected through the Magenta Line, while the Blue Line will also provide connectivity to New Delhi and Anand Vihar Railway Station. It is estimated that this metro route will initially carry around 80 thousand passengers. With this new metro route, sectors 44, 45, 97, 99, 100, 104, 105, 108, 93 will be able to get metro facilities.
NMRC has given the green signal to the DPR, along with this, NMRC has sent approval to the state government and the central government for the approval of this metro line. It is being told that Rs 2254 crore 35 lakh will be spent in preparing the metro station on this metro route. Will cost Rs.
