Extension approval: NMRC has received approval to extend the Aqua Line to Greater Noida West. The extension is expected to gain momentum after the completion of the current elections, which will speed up construction activities.
New stations: The extension will have 11 new stations, improving accessibility and convenience for commuters. Among these, Sector 61 will serve as an interchange station, allowing commuters to switch between the Aqua Line and the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Blue Line.
Better connectivity: The primary objective of the extension is to provide faster and direct connectivity between Noida, Greater Noida West and Greater Noida, eventually enhancing accessibility to Noida and Delhi.
