Actually, soon you will be able to book metro tickets in all major cities through Google Map app. That means you will not need to have 2 apps. For this, Google has partnered with ONDC. At the Google for India event held yesterday, the company said that the company has partnered with Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) and soon as a result users will be able to book metro tickets through the Maps app.

Will start soon in metro cities

Google Cloud India Managing Director Bikram Singh Bedi said at the event that this experience, which will be rolled out across metro cities in the country over the next few months, will be available through buyer apps integrated within ONDC. Earlier this year, Google, in partnership with ONDC, started a program for those sellers who are coming online through the open network. Now, further strengthening the partnership, the company is going to provide the facility of metro tickets to the people in the app.

You can also book tickets through WhatsApp

You can also book Delhi Metro tickets through WhatsApp. For this you will have to send HI to number 9650855800. You can book 6 metro tickets at a time through WhatsApp. Note, you will be able to book tickets through this number between 6 am to 9 pm. Whereas, for the Airport Line you can book tickets between 4 am to 11 am. DMRC has started this facility for 228 metro stations.
