New Namo Bharat & Metro Stations: There is news of relief for the people living in NCR. 22 stations will be built from Noida International Airport Jewar to Ghaziabad to connect Namo Bharat and Metro. In future it can be increased to 35 stations. Earlier there were preparations to build 25 stations. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has prepared the detailed project report of the project and submitted it to the Yamuna Authority. A 72.2 km elevated track will be built from the airport to Ghaziabad. Both Metro and Namo Bharat will run on the same track.

An official of Yamuna Authority said that for better connectivity of Noida International Airport, DPR has been prepared for the Namo Bharat (Rapid Rail) route from Siddharthnagar in Ghaziabad to via Greno West, Alpha-1 and Jewar Airport. The DPR and feasibility report of the project has revealed an expenditure of Rs 4.58 crore. Importantly, there will be direct connectivity from Jewar Airport to Indira Gandhi International Airport and the Film City to be built in Yamuna City. The route of rapid rail from Ghaziabad to Greater Noida West, Alpha-1 and from Yida City to Jewar Airport has now been finalized. Namo Bharat and Metro will have six bogies. The target for completion of the construction work of Namo Bharat, which will run from Ghaziabad RRTC to Jewar Airport via Greater Noida West, has been set for 2031.

18 stations will be built in the first phase

In the first phase, a 39.39 km track will be prepared from Siddharth Vihar in Ghaziabad to Greater Noida Ecotech-6. 18 stations will be built on this track, out of which seven will be of Namo Bharat and 11 will be of Metro. This route will connect to Ghaziabad RRTS station. It will be taken from Vishwakarma Road (Siddharth Vihar/Pratap Vihar), Taj Highway, Char Murti Chowk of Greater Noida West, Greater Noida Link Road, Knowledge Park-5, to Surajpur Kasna, from Pari Chowk and will end at Ecotech-6.

Elevated track will be built

A 72.2 km elevated track will be built from Noida Airport to Ghaziabad. Both Metro and Namo Bharat will run on the same track. Namo Bharat train will run at a speed of 80 kilometers to 114 kilometers per hour. The speed of the metro will be 46 kilometers per hour. It is expected that by the year 2031 there will be 3.09 lakh passengers on this route.

People of Greno West will get benefits

If the project materializes, not only Noida Airport but also the residents of Greater Noida West and Greater Noida will be greatly benefited. This project will prove to be a lifeline for Greater Noida West. Actually, it is not easy to reach Ghaziabad from Greno West and Greater Noida. People have to deal with traffic jams in Greno West every day.

There will be connectivity to the airport

NCRTC has also prepared a blueprint for direct connectivity of the Film City to be developed in Sector-21 of Yamuna City with Jewar Airport. For this, LRT will be run from Film City to Jewar Airport. A separate track of 14.6 km will be prepared for this. At the same time, Namo Bharat will also be run from Indira Gandhi Airport to Jewar Airport.

Only four Namo Bharat stations will be built in the second phase.

In the second phase, only four stations will be built from Ecotech-6 to Jewar Airport. These four will be stations of Namo Bharat. The length of this track will be 32.90 kilometers. This route will cross the Eastern Peripheral Expressway from Ecotech 6 and reach Jewar Airport via Dankaur, Kanarsi, Dhanauri Khurd, Bhatta Parasol, Dayanatpur, Kishorepur.
