Many trains are being affected due to the ongoing track non-interlinking work at Jammu railway station. For the convenience of passengers, Northern Railway has decided to run Rajdhani Express between Jammu and Delhi from January 24 to January 25. This train will leave from New Delhi at 8 pm and reach Jammu at 5 am the next day.
Due to the ongoing track non-interlinking work at Jammu railway station, many trains coming to Jammu railway station will be cancelled till March 7 and many will be returned mid-way. Due to this, in view of the problems faced by the railway passengers, Northern Railway has decided to run Rajdhani Express between Jammu and Delhi every day for a week.
Train will leave from New Delhi at 8 pm
From Saturday to January 24, train number 12425 Rajdhani Express will come from New Delhi to Jammu. The last round of this train will be on January 25 from Jammu to New Delhi. Rajdhani will leave from New Delhi at 8 pm and will reach Jammu at 5 am the next day.
Usually this Rajdhani leaves from Katra at around 10 pm and leaves from Jammu at 12 midnight. For a week, this train will run only between Jammu and Delhi.
Railway will return 19 trains mid-way
Let us tell you that till March 7, the railways will return 19 trains mid-way. Among them, Gandhinagar Capital-Jammu Tawi Express will come only till Pathankot from January 15 to March 3. Another train Bhagat De Kothi-Jammu Tawi will also run till March 3 and Varanasi-Jammu Tawi Express will run only till Pathankot Cantt Railway Station till March 5.
At the same time, the train running between Bhavnagar Terminal to Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan and Udhampur will come to Jalandhar City from January 19 to March 2. Similarly, the Sabarmati-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi weekly train will come to Ferozepur Cantt station from January 19 to March 2.
These trains will also be affected
Howrah-Jammu Tawi Express, which runs two days a week, will come to Vijaypur station from January 17 to February 28.
Similarly, Gorakhpur-Jammu Tawi Express from 20 January to 24 February, Bhagalpur-Jammu Tawi Express from 16 January to 27 February, Guwahati-Jammu Tawi weekly train from 20 January to 24 February and another train coming from Guwahati to Jammu will come only till Vijaypur Railway Station from 22 January to 26 February.
Tatanagar Sambalpur-Jammu Tawi daily train will come to Amritsar Railway Station from 30 January to 4 March. Safdarjung Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan, Udhampur train running biweekly will come to Vijaypur Railway Station from 18 January to 4 March.
These trains running from Jammu will run from different stations
While among the trains running from other railway stations instead of Jammu railway station, Jammu Tawi-Gandhinagar Capital train will run from Pathankot from 15 January to 6 March.
Similarly, the train running between Jammu Tawi and Bhagatpur Kothi will run from 15 January to 6 March, the special train running between Jammu Tawi and Varanasi will run from 15 January to 6 March and Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Udhampur Safdarganj train will run from Pathankot Cantt from 15 January to 5 March.
While the special train running from Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Udhampur to Bhavnagar will run from Jalandhar City from 20 January to 3 March.
The weekly train running between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Sabarmati will run from Ferozepur Cantt railway station from 21 January to 4 March. Jammu Tawi to Tata Nagar Express will run from Amritsar Railway Station from 2 February to 7 March.
