Now the bank has recently made a big change regarding its application, after which no other person will be able to login to your account. But, for this a special work has to be done and if you are not able to do that then it can be difficult.

What is the new rule
SBI has implemented a strict new rule regarding YONO from July 22, which customers must follow to continue using the app. If they do not do this then they will not be able to do any transaction through the application. Actually, the bank has arranged for SIM binding, which will make your account even more secure. In this technology, only one user in a device can do banking from the registered mobile number. With this, no one else will be able to do online banking from your account.
What will need to be done?
For this, you have to login to the bank’s application with the same number, which is registered in your bank account. Now you cannot login to the application through any other number. Earlier some people used to login to the application through their second number also, but now this cannot be done. Now you have to login from your registered phone, otherwise you will not be able to do any transaction.
Now an account can be accessed through only one phone number, no other number can have access to the account regardless of the person. Also all YONO app users will have to upgrade to this latest version (5.3.48) and do the transaction. The new YONO Lite will allow access to YONO SBI only from a phone that has a mobile number registered with the bank. Customers just need to upgrade YONO Lite app from Play Store or App Store and authenticate through OTP with registered phone number. After that the app will work normally.
