New Rules for Driving License – Many important changes are going to happen for driving license in India from June 1, 2024. Now people will not have to pass the driving test at the Government Regional Transport Office (RTO). The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced new rules to make this process easier. Applicants can now give their driving test at a private driving training center authorized by the government instead of the RTO. These centers will take the test for license eligibility and give certificates.
Aadhaar PAN and TDS news – Link PAN Card and Aadhaar Card by 31 May 2024. The Income Tax Department has asked taxpayers to link their PAN card with Aadhaar card by 31 May 2024. The department said that those who do not link by this date will have to pay more tax deduction at source (TDS).
Cars are getting expensive – Audi, the world’s luxury car maker, has made a big announcement. The company has decided to increase the price of its cars in India by 2 percent. From June 1, 2024, customers will get cars at increased prices. The company has cited the increase in input costs as the reason behind increasing the price of its car. In the financial year 23-24, Audi India sold a total of 7027 units. In the last financial year, the company registered a 33 percent increase in car sales.
New rules of Credit Card – SBI credit card rules are changing from June 1. SBI Card has said that reward points will not be applicable on government-related transactions for some credit cards from June 2024 (New Rules). The SBI credit cards in which this facility is going to be discontinued include Aurum, SBI Card Elite, SBI Card Elite Advantage and many others.
LPG Cylinder Price – LPG Cylinder Price will be updated on 1st June as it happens on the 1st of every month. In May 2024, oil marketing companies had reduced the prices of commercial cylinders and it is estimated that they may reduce the cylinder prices again in June.
