Axis Bank has launched a special savings account for women. Its name is ‘Arise Women’s Savings Account’. It has been designed keeping in mind the financial needs of women. Benefits of Family Banking Program

On opening ARISE Women’s Savings Account, women will get the facility of dedicated women financial experts. Benefits of Family Banking Program will be available with this account. Under this, three members of the family can avail banking facilities. Children’s accounts can also be linked without the condition of initial funding.

No fee on locker in the first year

Zero rental fee will be applicable on small and medium lockers in the first year. There will be a 50 percent discount on fees in the second year. The transaction limit of the Arise Debit Card available with the Arise Savings Account will be higher. There will be a limit of Rs 5 lakh at POS, while the limit at ATM will be Rs 1 lakh. With this card, airport lounge facility will be available every quarter. 1 EDGE Reward will also be available for every Rs 200 spent.

Complimentary NEO credit card will be available

On opening this account, a complimentary NEO credit card will be available. On this card, 10 percent instant discount will be available on BookMyShow, up to 40 percent discount on Zomato orders and 1 Edge Reward point will be available for spending Rs 200. Experts say that this will increase the interest of women in opening bank savings accounts. Currently, only 20.8 percent of the total bank deposits in India are of women. The share of women among total account holders is 36.4 percent.

Financial advice will be available from women experts

On opening Arise Women’s Savings Account, women will get financial guidance from women experts. There will be no annual maintenance charge on the demat account for the first year. There will be a special facility to invest in a basket of stocks which has been prepared keeping women in mind. Up to 70 percent discount will be available on diagnostic texts related to women. 10 percent discount will be available on medicines. Many banks already have special savings accounts for women.
