Students have got relief amid the increasing heat. School timings have been changed. Classes up to 8th will run till 11:30.
School Timing Changed: In view of the scorching heat and heatwave in Jharkhand, school timings have been changed. There has been a change in the timing of classes KG to 12th. The School Education and Literacy Department has issued an order in this regard. The orders will be effective from April 22 on all private, unaided, non-government aided and all government schools. From Monday, students’ leave and school reporting time will change.
When will the class be held?
As per the order, classes from class KG to 8th will start from 7 am and the closing time will be at 11:30 am. Classes from 9th to 12th will run from 7 am to 12 noon.
Ban on activities taking place in sunlight
Apart from changing the time table, the School Education and Literacy Department has also banned activities in the sun. All schools have been advised not to organize prayers, sports and other programs in sunlight.
People of the state troubled by heat
Let us tell you that at present Jharkhand is in the grip of heat web. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in most of the districts of the state. A yellow alert has been issued regarding heat wave in the capital Ranchi. People have also been advised to take caution from heat and heatwave. The temperature may also rise in the coming days.
