Before Holi, the problem of waiting tickets in trains is increasing continuously, due to which migrant passengers may face problems in returning to their homes. Many passengers are upset due to not getting confirmed seats despite booking tickets on time. In such a situation, for the convenience of the passengers, the Railways has announced to run two special trains from Gurgaon to Haridwar and Gorakhpur.
New Train: For the convenience of passengers on Holi festival, the railway is operating two special trains from Gurgaon station to Haridwar and Gorakhpur. These trains will operate from March 10 to March 31. This will provide convenience to the passengers going home on Holi.
North Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Captain Shashi Kiran said that train number 05024, Khatipura (Jaipur)-Gorakhpur Weekly Special Train will depart from Khatipura on Monday at 6:50 pm from March 10 to March 31 and reach Gorakhpur on Tuesday at 2:45 pm.
Which stations will it stop at?
This rail service will stop at Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Budhwal, Sitapur, Sitapur City, Bareilly, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Delhi Cantt, Gurgaon, Rewari, Alwar and Bandikui stations. While going from Jaipur to Gorakhpur, this train will reach Gurgaon Railway Station at 10:30 pm.
On the return journey, it will depart from Gorakhpur at 9:15 pm and reach Gurgaon railway station at 1 pm the next day. Train number 09425-26, Haridwar-Sabarmati bi-weekly special rail service will depart from Haridwar on Fridays and Mondays from March 10 to March 31 at 9 pm and reach Jaipur on Saturdays and Tuesdays at 11 am and Sabarmati at 10:30 pm.
This train will halt at Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Falna, Marwar Junction, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Bandikui, Alwar, Rewari, Gurgaon, Delhi Cantt, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Meerut City, Muzaffarnagar and Roorkee stations.
While coming from Haridwar, this train will arrive at Gurgaon railway station at 4:45 am. While going from Sabarmati to Haridwar, the train will reach Gurgaon railway station at 8:20 am.

Due to cancellation of many trains on Delhi-Ambala route, crowd has increased in other trains, due to which many passengers have to travel standing. Not only Haryana, lakhs of people from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra are also preparing to return to their homes in the festive season.
Most people want to celebrate big festivals like Holi, Diwali and Chhath Puja with their families, but despite Holi coming closer, the number of waiting in trains is not decreasing. On IRCTC’s website also, tickets for most trains are available on waiting list, due to which the problems of passengers have increased.
Passengers’ problems increased due to waiting tickets
Holi festival will be celebrated on 13 and 14 March, so a large number of people from other states are returning to their homes, but in many trains the waiting has gone up to more than 100. There is a huge waiting list in trains going from Delhi to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, due to which people are having to change their travel plans.
