Faceless System In RTO: Now RTO work can be done from home in Ghaziabad. With the advent of the new faceless system, there will be freedom from middlemen and work will be done quickly.
Ghaziabad: There is a great news for the vehicle owners and driving license holders of Ghaziabad. Now 43 services of the Regional Transport Office (RTO) will become completely faceless, so that people can get the necessary work done from home. These services include facilities like duplicate RC, change of address, duplicate driving license and second copy of fitness certificate. Preparations have been made to implement the new system after Diwali.
Demo process started, system will be implemented soon
Two meetings have already been held for this new faceless system in the RTO. According to officials, the demo process will run for the next 8 to 10 days and after that it will be implemented. Under this system, the public will not need to go to the RTO office and all the work can be done online from home. So far 9 services have been made faceless and now it will be increased to 43. There is a plan to make a total of 58 services faceless, in which some legal processes are still pending.
Faceless services will increase benefits
The biggest advantage of faceless services is that people will get freedom from middlemen and brokers. However, officials say that unless the public itself becomes aware and applies directly, the system of brokers cannot be closed. After applying under faceless services, if the file is not rejected or accepted on time by the regional inspector, then immediate action will be taken on such cases.
Driving training center will start by the end of November
Apart from this, the first Driving Training Center (DTC) in Ghaziabad is likely to open by the end of November. More than 80 percent of the work of this center being built near Guldhar has been completed. Candidates applying for permanent license here will have to pass the test first, only after which the license will be issued. To ensure transparency in this center, 108 CCTV cameras have been installed and departmental inspection will also be done from time to time.
Registration process of old vehicles continues
Along with this, the process of suspending the registration of 10 to 15 year old vehicles is also going on fast. According to the officials, this step is necessary to remove old and polluting vehicles, which will reduce pollution in the city. The implementation of the new faceless system will provide great relief to the vehicle owners of Ghaziabad. This digital revolution will not only save time but will also ensure transparency. Officials believe that the more people use this system, the more the game of brokerage and middlemen will end.
