Yamuna Expressway Toll Charges: After the new rates come into effect, i.e. from October 1, the toll tax for a car from Greater Noida to Agra will be Rs 295 instead of Rs 270.

Yamuna Expressway Toll Rates List: Traveling on Yamuna Expressway is going to be expensive soon. Yamuna Authority has approved the increase in toll rates in the board meeting. In the meeting, a 4 percent increase in toll tax has been approved. The new rates will come into effect from October 1.

Earlier in March 2022, the toll tax on Delhi-Agra Yamuna Expressway was increased. Last time there was an increase of 12 percent. After the implementation of new rates i.e. from October 1, the toll tax of a car from Greater Noida to Agra will be Rs 295 instead of 270. At the same time, the toll of buses has been increased from Rs 895 to 935 and that of oversize vehicles from Rs 1760 to 1835.

Delhi to Agra travel in just 2.5 hours

Yamuna Expressway connects Delhi to Agra. The 165 km long six-lane expressway passes through Mathura and Aligarh. It has been constructed by Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and the contract has been given to Jaypee Infratech Limited.

The construction of this expressway has saved a lot of time in the journey from Delhi to Agra. Earlier it used to take about 4 hours to travel from Delhi to Agra which now takes 2.5 hours. Apart from this, this expressway is also helping in reducing the traffic on Old GT Road and National Highway-2.
