Although there is a provision to increase the toll rate on Delhi-Meerut Expressway from the beginning of the financial year, but due to the Lok Sabha election code of conduct, it was postponed till June 1. Now from midnight of June 2, 5 percent more toll will have to be paid on Delhi-Meerut Expressway.

How much toll tax will have to be paid where

Till now, people traveling by car from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi to Meerut and Meerut to Sarai Kale Khan had to pay a toll of Rs 160. Now it will increase to Rs 165. Now, while going from Delhi to Meerut, if you get down at Bhojpur, you will have to pay Rs 140 and if you get down at Rasulpur Sikroad, you will have to pay a toll of Rs 110. Monthly pass will be issued at Chhijarsi toll plaza for Rs 340 instead of Rs 330. At the same time, people going to Hapur from NH-9 will be charged Rs 170 instead of Rs 165 at Chhijarsi toll. Apart from this, toll will also be increased by 5 percent on other tolls apart from Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
