New Toll Tax Rate: Toll will be collected from Monday at the newly built Ballipur toll plaza in Sandila on Hardoi Road in Uttar Pradesh. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has also put up a rate list board at the toll plaza. NHAI project director Saurabh Chaurasia said that toll rates will be collected from 8 am on Monday.
He informed that for car, jeep, van or light motor vehicles, the rate for single journey is Rs 85, return journey fee for one day is Rs 130 and monthly pass for 50 single journeys is Rs 2845. Whereas for light commercial vehicle or mini bus, the rate for single journey is Rs 140, return journey fee for one day is Rs 205 and monthly pass for 50 single journeys for one month is Rs 4505.
The project director said that NHAI has completely prepared package-3 of 55 km. The next package is being prepared by Bareilly NHAI team. Car, jeep, van or light motor vehicle will have to pay Rs 85. At present, vehicle owners coming and going from Hardoi to Lucknow will have to loosen their pockets at one place. In the coming days, drivers will have to pay toll at two places between Hardoi and Lucknow.
