Lucknow-Ayodhya journey will become costlier from today. The increased toll rates will be applicable from midnight today. The list of rates has been prepared and pasted at the toll plaza for the information of the drivers.

New Toll Tax Rates: Now travelling to the capital Lucknow will become expensive, as rates have been increased at Raunahi (Tahseenpur) toll plaza in Ayodhya district. The increased toll rates will come into effect from midnight of April 1 (March 31) in the new financial year by NHAI.

Toll rates on Lucknow- Gorakhpur National Highway were implemented from April 1 last year. This time the increased toll rates have been revised from midnight of April 1 (March 31). As per the order issued by NHAI, tolls on commercial and other vehicles have been increased by five to 25 rupees. Its circular has been issued and the list of increased rates has been prepared and pasted on the toll plaza for the information of the drivers. Apart from this, it has also been fed into the system of the toll plaza. In the new list of toll rates, single and return rates within 24 hours have been increased at Raunahi Tahseenpur toll plaza. Single trip, round trip and monthly fee rates have been increased for every category of heavy vehicles from commercial vehicles.

These new rates have been implemented

The rates of cars and other vehicles have been increased at Raunahi (Tahseenpur) toll plaza. Till now, the toll for a car was Rs. 120 and for return, it will now cost Rs. 125 and for return, it will cost Rs. 190. There has been an increase of Rs. 5. For light commercial vehicles, the toll will cost Rs. 205 instead of Rs. 195 and for return, it will cost Rs. 305 instead of Rs. 295. For buses and trucks, the toll was Rs. 415 and for return, it will cost Rs. 620, but now, it will cost Rs. 430 and for return, it will cost Rs. 640. There has been an increase of Rs. 20. For 10-wheeler vehicles, the toll will cost Rs. 465 instead of Rs. 450 and for return, it will cost Rs. 700 instead of Rs. 675. Heavy vehicles with trailers and other vehicles will have to pay Rs 670 instead of Rs 650 for going and Rs 1005 instead of Rs 950 for return. There has been an increase of Rs 55. Apart from this, the heaviest vehicles will have to pay Rs 815 instead of Rs 790 for going and Rs 1225 instead of Rs 1185 for return. There has been an increase of Rs 40 in this.

Monthly pass increased by Rs 10

Ayodhya. Monthly passes will be made for non-commercial vehicles of people residing within 20 km radius of Raunahi toll plaza. Till now the monthly pass was Rs 340 which has now been increased to Rs 350. Apart from this, with the increase in toll plaza rates, there is a possibility of increase in the fare of roadways buses, because the new rates of Raunahi toll plaza have come into effect.

Toll manager Raunahi Rishabh Mishra said that the new rates of toll tax have come into effect from Sunday midnight. The list of increased rates issued by NHAI has been pasted at the toll plaza. Vehicle owners will have to comply with the circular issued by NHAI.
