New Traffic rule: Now you will not be able to buy a car without parking in this city, new rule is going to be implemented

Mumbai New Traffic rule: The Maharashtra government is working on a new policy to get rid of Mumbai’s traffic jams. Chief Minister Fadnavis has said that vehicle buyers will no longer be allowed to buy without parking.

New Traffic rule: To get rid of the problem of traffic jam in Mumbai, the most crowded area of the country, the Maharashtra government has come up with a great idea. The state government is considering a new policy, under which potential buyers will be required to have a dedicated parking space before buying a car. State Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis told CNBC-TV18 that this is part of the government’s strategy to reduce traffic jams in Mumbai.

The Chief Minister said, ‘We have developed several public parking facilities in the city, which can now be accessed through a dedicated app. The aim of this policy is to ensure that car owners have a designated parking area, whether by buying from the municipal corporation or by renting, as uncontrolled parking increases traffic problems. This policy can be implemented soon.’ After this, car buyers in the state can also be monitored.

Mumbai is the safest city

The Chief Minister said that no matter how much the opposition criticizes us regarding law and order, Mumbai is one of the safest cities in the country. We take the recent knife attack on actor Saif Ali Khan seriously. Despite this, Mumbai emerges as the safest city compared to the metros of India.

Rapid development of real estate

The Chief Minister said that real estate is developing rapidly in our city. High real estate is developing rapidly in areas like Navi Mumbai and Third Mumbai. He said that Bangalore and Hyderabad have lost their momentum due to rising real estate prices, in contrast, projects are developing rapidly in Mumbai despite being expensive. There is a price limit of real estate for the IT sector, beyond which companies cannot go. Real estate in Mumbai is very expensive and this reflects our continuous development.

Rapid construction of roads and flyovers

According to Fadnavis, the traffic situation is improving. After connecting Mumbai to Navi Mumbai via Atal Setu, the travel time from Nariman Point to Navi Mumbai has come down to just 30 minutes. There are plans to develop a ‘Third Mumbai’ between Navi Mumbai and Raigad districts. It will be three times bigger than the current Mumbai and is designed to accommodate 60% of the city’s data centre capacity.
