New Trains: Rail facilities expanded in Madhya Pradesh on Friday and 3 MEMU trains have started operating here. These three trains Satna-Itarsi, Satna-Manikpur and Katni-Bina were flagged off by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. While flagging off the new MEMU (Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) train under West Central Railway Jabalpur division through video conferencing from his residence, CM Chouhan said that these trains are being started for the convenience of the general public in the state.Also Read:Good news about DA! Train has all modern facilities
These trains will be equipped with all modern facilities like GPS, digital display, CCTV, bio toilet etc. Through these, common people will be able to travel conveniently at a high speed. This will be very useful especially for everyday commuters. Chief Minister Chouhan said that rail, road and phone connectivity is increasing continuously in Madhya Pradesh. India has more than 67 thousand kilometers of rail network and more than 13 thousand passenger trains and 8 thousand goods trains. MP has more than 700

Speed will be 100 kmph
Lalitpur-Singrauli rail line will also prove to be very important in the development of the area. West-Central Railway flagged off three new MEMU trains Satna-Itarsi, Satna-Manikpur and Katni-Bina under Jabalpur division. MP Vishnudutt Sharma said that today (August 13, 2021) these trains have started, which will prove to be very useful for the common people. Member of Parliament Ganesh Singh, who attended Satna’s program, said that these MEMU trains are equipped with modern facilities. These have facilities like Passenger Information System, GPS, CCTV, Bio-toilets etc. Their speed will be 100 kilometers per hour. Each train will have 8 coaches, in which 650 passengers will be able to travel.
