On the lines of Delhi, passengers will also be able to travel in Haryana Roadways buses and metro with National Common Mobility Card. Roadways has started this facility. After this, passengers will no longer need to pay cash fare. This will make the journey of people traveling in 152 roadways buses leaving from Faridabad to different districts and states easier. During this period, passengers must have the above mentioned cards. With this he will be able to pay the rent easily. Apart from this, roadways conductors will also be freed from giving or taking change during the journey. Not only this, the holder will be able to shop anywhere with this card. Roadways General Manager Lekhraj said that at present the cards are being given by his department. The card can be taken away after bringing Aadhar card.

Card holders will be able to use it for small and big shopping. It is certain that there should be money in the card as per shopping. The holder will not need to keep other credit and debit cards. It is certain that the card holder must use the PIN. The card holder can recharge a maximum of Rs 2,000 for travel and any amount for shopping.
Lekhraj, General Manager, Haryana Roadways Faridabad Depot, said, ‘The cards have arrived at the Faridabad depot and passengers can take them on showing their Aadhaar card. No payment will have to be made for this. The ETM machine is not yet set as per the fare of roadways air conditioned buses. Therefore, this card will not work in air conditioned buses at present.
Card will not work in air conditioned buses
National Common Mobility Card will not work in air conditioned buses of Haryana Roadways. The reason is that the conductors of air conditioned buses do not have ETM machines. The reason is that the fare in the ETM machine has not been set as per the air conditioned buses.
Recharge of two thousand rupees will have to be done
National Common Mobility Card should have a recharge of around Rs 2000 for the fare. After this, while traveling on Haryana Roadways, the fare amount will be deducted automatically just by showing the card to the ETM machine near the conductor. Neither will there be any need to pay cash to the conductor nor will the passenger need to keep cash with him for the fare. There will be no need for any kind of PIN. This card will also be valid in metro rail. Where on showing the card the passenger’s fare will be automatically deducted. A maximum of Rs 2000 can be recharged for the journey.
Discounts will be available during travel
Currently, the National Common Mobility Card will not provide any discount during travel, but after some time, you will definitely be able to get a discount of up to five percent. The file is with the government for its approval. It is expected that the file will be approved soon. Apart from this, the elderly already have 50 percent discount in fare in Haryana Roadways and for that the department has already made their cards. They only have to show their senior citizen card. After which they will also be provided National Common Mobility Card. After that they are expected to get more discount in fare. Students will also be able to get discounts on using the card while travelling. At present there is no relaxation of any kind.
