Actually, Air India staff will get new uniforms by November this year. Now flight attendants will not be seen in sarees, rather a new look has been prepared for them. Manish Malhotra will design new uniforms for more than 10,000 employees of Air India. These employees include cabin crew, cockpit crew, ground and security staff.
After November, all the staff of Air India are going to be seen in a different look, these changes are being made in Air India to create its hi-tech image in the global market. Not only this, the uniform of Vistara airline will also be like that of Air India employees. According to a report, there has been a change in the uniform of Air India after the last 6 decades.

Focus on upgrading all employees
Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran says that in the last 12 months we have prepared a strong team. We are focusing on upgrading all the employees of the airline. We are constantly working towards improving our aircraft, so that they can be prepared as per global standards.
Meanwhile, after coming into the hands of Tata Group, Air India’s share in the aviation market is continuously increasing. At the time of privatization, Air India’s share in the aviation market was less than 10 percent, but now it has increased to 26 to 27 percent. Apart from this, $400 million will be allocated for the re-fitting of wide body aircraft starting around July-August 2024. After which the interior will also be upgraded as per world class standards. Some of these changes include new seats, new in-flight entertainment system, new bathrooms and other changes.
Amidst all this, the number of aircraft in Air India’s fleet is continuously increasing. In June this year, Air India had signed a purchase MoU to buy 470 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing. This deal is considered to be the largest aircraft order ever in aviation history.
