The Railway Board has given approval to run the country’s fastest train ever on this route. Vande Bharat train between Patna-Howrah will run from 24th September. The Railway Board gave this information to East Central Railway on Tuesday.
According to the information, Vande Bharat will be flagged off from Patna Junction at around 12.30 pm on 24th September and will be sent to Howrah. As soon as the information about the date of inauguration was received from the Railway Board, the railway administration started preparing.
This will be the second Vande Bharat train to run from Bihar. Earlier, Vande Bharat Express was running between Patna and Ranchi. The time table and fare of Vande Bharat running between Patna and Howrah has not been decided yet by the Railway Board.
Railway official said that the fare and time table will be decided by the board by Wednesday evening. The time table has been made available to the Railway Board much in advance. The distance from Patna to Howrah is 530 kilometers. During the trial run it was completed in 6.30 hours.
