At the same time, recently Banaras has become the first city from where Vande Bharat has started both in the morning and evening. Banaras is also special because the country’s first Vande Bharat train started from here.
New Vande Bharat will run on these routes
According to the Railway Ministry, the routes of six Vande Bharat Express have almost been decided. These include Delhi to Katra, Delhi to Ayodhya via Lucknow, Delhi to Chandigarh, Bengaluru to Coimbatore, Mangalore to Goa Vande Bharat. It is expected that the Prime Minister will flag off all the Vande Bharat Express from Ayodhya on 30th December. Vande Bharat will be available for common people to travel from the new year.
Katra is the second city from where two Vande Bharats will run each.
After Banaras, Katra will become the second city from where two Vande Bharat trains will run. From here one train will run in the morning and the other in the evening.
