New Vande Bharat: Taj city Agra has received the gift of another Vande Bharat Superfast. Vande Bharat train will run from Cantt station to Udaipur from September 2. It will run three days a week on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. It will take passengers from Agra to Udaipur in 9 hours.
North Western Railway’s Public Relations Officer said that train number 20981 will start operating between Udaipur and Agra Cantt from September 2. The train will run from Udaipur at 5:45 am and will reach Agra Cantt at 2:30 pm. It will leave Agra Cantt at 3 pm and reach Udaipur at 11:45 pm.
It will run between Udaipur-Agra three days a week on Monday, Thursday and Saturday, while on the other three days Wednesday, Friday and Sunday it will run only between Jaipur-Udaipur. The railways had run this train only between Jaipur and Udaipur, but it did not get passengers. Hence, it is being started till Agra Cantt. This train will stop at Rana Pratap Nagar, Mavli, Chanderia, Kota, Sawai Madhopur and Gangapur City stations. The railways have not yet decided the fare of this train.
