In response to a question, he said that due to farmer agitation in the country, this damage is being done on toll plazas.
Significantly, the farmers have been agitating on the Ghazipur, Tikri and Singhu borders for the last 79 days demanding withdrawal of the three agricultural laws. However, during the reply given in the Lok Sabha, Gadkari did not say how the damage was being done. Have the farmers taken over the toll plaza, or have the farmers blocked the road there. Due to which vehicles are unable to move and tolls are closed.
