IFS Nidhi Tewari: Nidhi Tiwari, a 2014 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), has been appointed as the Private Secretary (PS) to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to the order issued by DoPT, Nidhi Tiwari was currently working as Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) but now she has been appointed as the Personal Secretary of the PM.
Nidhi Tewari joined the Indian Foreign Service in 2014 and has worked on various important posts. Her services as Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office have been commendable, in view of which she has been given a new responsibility. Nidhi Tiwari’s workload as the Prime Minister’s Private Secretary will be important. While holding this post, she will have to coordinate the daily work of the Prime Minister, organize important meetings and coordinate with various government departments.
How much will be the salary?
According to reports, the pay scale of the officers appointed to the post of Private Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office is determined according to Pay Matrix Level 14. At this level, the salary is Rs 1,44,200 per month. Along with this, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA) and other allowances are also given.
