In the Nikita Tomar murder case of Haryana, the fast track court of Faridabad has sentenced both the accused. Two days ago, the court declared the main accused Tausif and Rehan guilty in this case and today the sentence has been announced.

Faridabad: In the Nikita Tomar murder case of Haryana, the fast track court of Faridabad has sentenced both the accused. Two days ago, the court declared the main accused Tausif and Rehan guilty in this case and today the sentence has been announced. The court sentenced the two convicts to life imprisonment. Although Nikita’s family members were demanding the execution of the culprits, Nikita Tomar was shot dead outside her college in Ballabhgarh, Haryana on October 26 last year.




The murder of Nikita Tomar was accused of a youth named Tausif and his companions Rehan and Azaruddin were accused of assisting in the murder. It was alleged that Rehan was present with Tausif at the time of killing Nikita Tomar and the weapon used for the murder was made available by Ajruddin. The court now held Tausif and Rehan guilty but Azaruddin was acquitted in the case. The matter has been heard in the fast track court for 5 months and the verdict has come today.

Nikita Tomar was shot dead outside the college in Ballabhgarh, Haryana on 26 October 2020. At that time, Nikita was returning after finishing her exam paper, when Tausif first pulled her into the car but Tausif shot her when Nikita protested, Rehan was present with Tausif. After the investigation in this case, the hearing started in the fast track court on November 1 and around 55 witnesses were produced in the court, including 2 from the defense side.
