Gurugram. Due to the negligence of the corporation officials, the area of South City Forest Society is once again ready for waterlogging. There is no drainage system here throughout the year. Now monsoon is on its head. The people here will again suffer from hellish conditions during the rainy season. Last year in the rain, water entered the houses here every day.
Arun Khanna, RWA member of South City Forest Society said that after rains in areas A, C, K, I, M, N and O etc. There is tremendous water logging near Maurya School. Last year, when such a situation arose, complaining to the officials of the corporation and asking them to make better arrangements for drainage from these areas, but a year has passed and till now no attention has been paid to it. Now only a few days are left in the monsoon, in such a situation there will be water logging again and water will fill the houses. Ashwini Duggal, a resident of the area, said that the society officials have complained to the officials after the meeting, so far only assurances have been received.
