No squadron leader named Vishal Randhawa in the army, the air force told the truth in the ‘humiliating post’ case

The Air Force clarified in a statement that there is neither an air warrior named Vishal Randhawa, a squadron leader in the Indian Air Force, nor a retired squadron leader of this name in the Army.

Indian Air Force said on Monday that no squadron leader named Vishal Randhawa is in the army. A few days before a Twitter account of this name, a derogatory post was tweeted against a journalist. The Air Force made it clear in a statement that there is neither an air warrior named Vishal Randhawa, a squadron leader in the Indian Air Force, nor a retired squadron leader of this name in the Army. He said that he has nothing to do with the views expressed through the Twitter account named Randhawa. Twitter had suspended this account for violating the rules.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense on Sunday said that Air Vice Marshal Ashutosh Sharma, the head of Air Force Command Hospital in Bangalore, has not written any such message on WhatsApp, which advised to take steam for the prevention of Kovid-19 epidemic. The Ministry made it clear that Air Vice Marshals are stationed in Bengaluru and not Air Marshals.

The ministry said that a message is being circulated on WhatsApp quoting Ashutosh Sharma, an air marshal of CHAFB, which is fake. He said that Sharma and the Air Force have nothing to do with this message. The ministry said that anyone with symptoms of Kovid-19 should seek professional medical help.
