Noida Metro News: In October, CM Yogi Adityanath will come to connect Greater Noida West with the capital Delhi!

This project, which started in 2022, is running late due to the Corona lockdown. Now the chairman of Noida-Greater Noida Authority has also started monitoring this project.


Noida. The Metro Rail scheme of Greater Noida West, which has been stuck on the way for many years, will soon come back on track. In October, UP CM Yogi Adityanath can lay its foundation stone. As soon as this line starts, Greater Noida West will be connected to the capital of the country, Delhi. Till now there was no facility of public transport here. The new route will be about 15 km and 5 metro rail stations will be built in the first phase. This project, which started in the year 2022, is running late due to Corona-Lockdown. The chairman of the Noida-Greater Noida Authority has also started monitoring this project.

According to the experts, the route of Metro from Noida Sector-51 to Greater Noida West is 15 km, but will start from only 5 metro stations. All 5 stations will be built on Sector-122, Sector-123, Greater Noida Sector-4, Greater Noida Sector-2 and Ecotech-12. However, 9 stations are to be completed on this entire route. With the commencement of the Greater Noida West Metro Line, the West sectors will be connected to the Aqua Line of Greater Noida and the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro.


492 crores will be spent on the elevated route

The entire route of Metro Rail starting from Noida Sector-51 to Greater Noida West Knowledge Park 5 will be elevated. According to the DPR, about Rs 492 crore will be spent on this. This project was approved in 2019 itself. It was to be started in the year 2022, but due to Corona and lockdown, this project got delayed. Now it is expected that its work will start in October.

Greater Noida will get the benefit from the start of the West line

. A large number of people also travel to the West from Pari Chowk in Noida, but due to no public transport, they take the help of autos and taxis. After the start of the Metro till the West, people will start traveling till the West via Greater Noida.
