Manohar Lal said that this budget is dedicated to farmers. The agriculture sector has been taken full care of. Our emphasis is on increasing micro irrigation. The remaining electricity subsidy amount will be spent on development works

The Chief Minister said in the House that reducing subsidy in the power sector is a good thing. We have prevented power theft and reduced losses. Despite this, we did not let any power shortage nor water shortage. Reducing subsidies means the government is saving. This amount will be used for development elsewhere. We have put more than Rs.550 crores in the area of electricity subsidy.

A loanee of one lakh owns property of 12.91 lakhs

Chief Minister Manoharlal responded with statistics to the opposition about the rising debt on the state. He admitted that Haryana has a debt of two lakh crore rupees. If every person has a loan of one lakh rupees, then according to the property value, he is also the owner of 12 lakh 91 thousand rupees. It is not that this money will go to someone’s house or a person will give a loan of one lakh rupees. This is just an assessment.

Hooda said – you have done all the work, Manohar said, “Chit-pat is not yours”

Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda intervened several times in Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s speech and made his point. Hooda quipped that Manohar Lal could also say that he was the one who created Haryana. Regarding the debt rising on the state, Hooda said that the debt was very low during our tenure, but the BJP has done the work of drinking ghee by taking loans.

Hooda said that it is wrong to compare Haryana’s debt, income and work with other states. The government should give its correct account. He said that the government should make the same promises to the people, which can fulfill it. In response to this, Manohar Lal said that it will not work if Chit too is yours and Pat too.
