Friends, EPFO has made a great update on the Unified Member Portal, due to which you can now tackle an important PF work on your own, for this you will not need to take help from your employer.
Unified Member Portal Has Been Updated
In fact, a new update has been made in the KYC section of the Unified Member Portal, under which you can now link your Aadhaar KYC directly with your PF account. Aadhaar KYC will not need to be approved by your employer. Although before this, PF members can directly link their Aadhaar with their PF account by visiting the Aadhaar Seeding option of UMANG app or eKYC option of EPFO’s official web portal epfindia.gov.in, but now this facility has also been given on Unified Member Portal. Due to which the PF member will not need to go anywhere else to link Aadhar card in his PF account. Aadhar KYC will be linked with PF account instantly in few seconds
New Way To Link Aadhar With Pf Account
- Login to the Unified Member Portal with your UAN number and password.
- Click on KYC option on Manage Tab.
- Select AADHAAR KYC.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and click on SAVE button.
- Your Aadhaar will be linked with your PF account instantly.
Important Things For Direct Aadhaar Linking
For direct linking of Aadhar card with your PF account, it is necessary that the details of your Aadhar and PF should be same i.e. name, date of birth and gender should be same in your Aadhar and PF account. If any details in your PF account or Aadhar card are wrong or different, then your Aadhar card will not be able to be linked directly to your PF account. In such a situation, you will have to first get the correction done in the concerned (PF OR AADHAAR CARD DETAIL).
