20 officers of Bihar Administrative Service have been promoted to the post of Indian Administrative Service. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension of the Central Government has issued a notification related to this.
Bihar Officers Promotion: Before 15th August, 20 officers of Bihar Administrative Service have got a gift. The Nitish Kumar government of the state has promoted 20 administrative service officers as officers of the Indian Administrative Service. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions of the Central Government released the list of promoted officers on Monday. All these officers of Bihar are from the 39th batch. The first posting of these officers will be as Joint Secretary.

- Dr. Nandlal Arya, Personal Secretary of Information and Technology Minister Santosh Kumar Suman.
- Rajesh Kumar Singh, Personal Secretary of Sugarcane Minister Krishnanandan Paswan.
- Prison Director Rajneesh Kumar Singh.
- Additional Director Dr. Rajesh Bharti, Mrityunjay Kumar, Sujit Kumar.
- Rajesh Kumar Singh, Rakesh Ranjan, Sanjay Kumar, Shambhu Sharan.
- Rajesh Kumar Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Madhav Kumar Singh.
- Ahmed Mahmood, Vinayak Mishra, Suman Kumar, Kumar Mangalam.
- Waris Khan, Akhilesh Kumar Singh and Atul Kumar Verma.
It is worth noting that in the year 2023, a total of 54 officers of Bihar Administrative Service have been promoted to IAS, including vacancies of the last three years. 27 officers were recommended for promotion to IAS for 2020, 24 for 2021 and 9 for 2022. The vacancies for 2023 have been filled this year.
