OLA Gig, S1 Z Electric Scooter: Ola Electric has today launched the cheapest electric scooter in its vehicle portfolio in the domestic market. The company has today launched its two new scooter ranges Gig and S1 Z in the market.
OLA Gig and S1 Z electric scooter range: The country’s leading two-wheeler electric vehicle manufacturer Ola Electric has expanded its vehicle portfolio and announced the launch of the new ‘Gig and S1 Z’ scooter range. The company says that these scooters have been launched to make electric mobility easier for the general public.
The special thing is that the starting price of this new electric scooter range is just Rs 39,999 (ex-showroom). Their official booking has also been started, which can be booked for just Rs 499.
According to the information received from the company, the new range of scooters includes Ola Gig, Ola Gig +, Ola S1 Z and Ola S1 Z +. Which are priced at Rs 39,999, Rs 49,999, Rs 59,999 and Rs 64,999 (ex-showroom) respectively. The company has provided removable battery pack in these scooters which makes their charging even easier.

Ola Gig is designed for short rides. This scooter is claimed to have a strong frame, design, adequate range, removable battery, adequate payload capacity and better safety. In this scooter, the company has provided a removable 1.5 kWh battery pack. The company claims that this scooter will give a driving range of 112 km (IDC-certified) on a single charge. It is equipped with 12-inch tires. This scooter is considered suitable for B2B business.
Ola Gig+:
Price: Rs 49,999
This scooter was designed for gig workers traveling long distances with heavy payloads. The Ola Gig Plus scooter can run at a maximum speed of 45 km/h. The company has introduced it with a removable single/dual battery of 1.5 kWh capacity. The company claims that the single battery of this scooter gives a range of 81 km i.e. with two batteries this scooter is capable of giving a range of 157 km. This scooter is operated by a hub motor with a peak output of 1.5 kW.
Ola S1Z:

The company has designed the S1 Z as a personal use scooter. This scooter has a 1.5 kWh removable dual battery, which has an IDC-certified range of 75 km (146 km x 2). Its top speed is 70 km per hour. It has an LCD display and a physical key. The company has provided a hub motor of 2.9 kW capacity in this scooter. The company says that this scooter can accelerate from 0-20 kmph in 1.8 seconds and 0-40 kmph in 4.8 seconds.
Ola S1 Z+

In Ola S1 Z Plus, the company has provided a stronger body, high payload capacity and multi-purpose storage. The company says that it can be used as a personal scooter as well as for light commercial use. It has a removable dual battery of 1.5 kWh capacity, which has an IDC-certified range of 75 km (146 km x 2). Its top speed is 70 km per hour. 14-inch tires have been used in this scooter. Apart from this, there is also a facility of LCD display and a physical key. This scooter can accelerate from 0-20 kmph in 1.8 seconds and 0-40 kmph in 4.7 seconds.
