OLA Electric: The country’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer OLA Electric has today launched a new variant in its S1X range in the market, which has been named S1X (4kWh).
The company has fixed the starting price of the new S1X (4kWh) at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom), this price also includes FAME2 subsidy.
This is the fourth model of the S1X line-up, before this this scooter was available in S1X (3kWh), S1 X (2kWh) and S1 X+ (3kWh) variants.
In this new variant, the company has provided a battery pack of 4kWh capacity, about which the company claims that this scooter gives a range of 190 km.
Till now, in the S1X+ model sold as the top variant, the company has provided a battery pack of 3kWh capacity, which gives a range of 151 km in a single charge.
In the S1X (4kWh) variant, the company has provided a 6kW electric motor whose top speed is 90 km/h and this scooter accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds.
Talking about the features, it has a 4.3 inch LCD instrument console and three riding modes: Eco, Normal and Sports.
Deliveries of the scooter will begin from April 2024, with deliveries of the S1
Ola Electric has expanded its portfolio to six scooters. The company has fixed the price of OLA S1X (2kW) variant at just Rs 79,999. This scooter gives a range of 95 km and its top speed is 85 km/hour.
The price of OLA S1X (3kW) has been fixed at Rs 89,999. This scooter gives a range of 143 km in a single charge, its top speed is 90 km/hour.
The company has used banana shape battery in its S1 electric scooter range and the company is giving 8 years warranty on it.
