With the release of the new guideline, 125000 employees including 2000 retired government employees are going to get its benefit immediately.

An important decision was taken in the Jharkhand cabinet meeting last month. In which guidelines based on six points have been issued to get old pension. The resolution has been issued on August 1 after the signature of Ajay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Finance Department. Whose direct benefit will be given to 2000 employees. At the same time, 125000 employees will also be provided its benefits after choosing the option of old pension.
In such a situation, the employees of the state will again be able to take advantage of the old pension scheme. They have to refund the amount of government contribution and dividend. Also the GPF account will be restarted. For this, employees will have to apply for old pension by visiting the pension portal. Along with this, detailed guidelines have been issued on 6 points.
They will get benefit
- Under this, employees who retired before September 1, 2022, who have not been paid the NPS amount. They will get the benefit of the old pension scheme.
- Employees who retired before 1 September 2022, who have been paid the NPS amount. The procedure has been prescribed for them to get pension.
- Employees who have retired or will be retired after 1 September 2022. He is being allotted a provident fund account number under the old pension scheme.
- By the way, the employee has been allotted provident fund account number under the old pension scheme and has died on September 1, 2022, during the service period itself.
They will get the benefit of the old pension scheme. - NPS employees who died after retirement between 1 December 2004 and 31 August 2022. Government contribution is given to such employees. Family pension will be made available to the next of kin after returning the amount of dividend received thereon.
- NPS employees who have retired during the period from 1 September 2022 to 15 March 2023, who have not applied online for the new contributory pension scheme or the old pension scheme. Such employees will be able to get the benefit of the old pension scheme by returning the amount of government grant and dividend.
