Old pension benefits soon
Employees serving in Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board will soon get the benefit of old pension. A delegation of the Board’s employee union met the Chief Minister. During this, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has given him assurance. The old pension demand will soon be implemented by the state government.
Consent on release of financial benefits
A meeting of the Service Committee will be organized within a week after the end of the Assembly session, after which an agreement will be reached on releasing financial benefits to the employees. Along with this, employees will get the benefit of the old pension scheme. In this matter, General Secretary of the Union Hiralal Verma said that it has been agreed upon to give assurance by the CM. The Chief Minister has assured that he will reach the convention. It will be organized in the month of October.
More than 6500 electricity employees will benefit
The demand of State Electricity Board employees has been going on for the last 4 months. With the implementation of the old pension scheme, more than 6500 electricity employees will benefit from it. Although the matter was pending due to the Service Committee meeting not being held for a long time, now the employees will soon get relief.
Earlier, the old pension scheme has been implemented by the Himachal Government across the state. Government employees have also started getting the benefits of the old pension scheme.
