On the day of the wedding, the girl’s report came positive, the bride and groom wore PPE kits and made seven rounds.

The bride and groom are wearing PPE kits and Pandit ji, who is chanting the mantras, should also be doing wedding ceremony rituals wearing PPE kits. A similar marriage took place on Thursday in Lat village of Hawalbag development block of the district in Coronakal. This step was taken as a precaution in the event of the bride’s report of the sample given Corona positive two days ago.

The woman of Lat village was scheduled to get married on Thursday. Family members were busy preparing. The girl had also bought her dress etc. from the market, but two days ago, her health suddenly started deteriorating. The family sampled him for a corona test at the local Kovid Hospital Base Hospital. Here, everything was going well till Thursday morning. The procession from Bikaner (Rajasthan) had also left for the bride’s house. But in the meantime, information was received from the base hospital that the corona examination report of the bride was positive. This brought the whole family into a panic.

Kisan Morcha District President Harish Kanwal came to know about this. They tried to find a way to get this marriage done on the fixed date and time. He contacted the administration. It was decided that the marriage should be done by providing PPE kit to the bride and groom and the priest who performed the rituals of the marriage.

The bride’s parents and brother also performed all the wedding rituals in the PPE kit. The bride and groom garlanded each other in the PPE kit and took seven rounds as a witness to the fire. The corona-infected bride was quarantined after the marriage was concluded. It was told that the groom’s side is a native of village Palampur (Deghat) in Almora district, but these people are residents of Bikaner (Rajasthan). The procession came to Almora from Rajasthan itself.

SDM Seema Vishwakarma told that the procession had arrived. Due to this, this marriage was allowed only on the assurance of compulsory adherence to the Kovid protocol. PPE kits were also made available by the administration. After the marriage is over, the bride is quarantined.
