OnePlus launched its flagship smartphone series OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Buds3 in the global market including India on January 23. OnePlus has introduced the new series in two variants OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R at the ‘Smooth Beyond Belief’ event held in Delhi. The company has already launched both the smartphones in China. The price of OnePlus 12 has been kept at Rs 64,999 and the price of OnePlus 12R has been kept at Rs 39,999. Whereas, the price of OnePlus Buds 3 has been kept at Rs 5,499. OnePlus 12 has been provided with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for performance. Also, the phone has support for 50W wireless charging. At the same time, OnePlus has claimed that Buds 3 will provide 44 hours of total battery backup and 7 hours of playback time in 10 minutes of charging. Touch volume control is provided in the upcoming Buds 3.
OnePlus Series: Availability and Offers
The sale of OnePlus 12R and Buds 3 in India will start on February 6 at 12 noon on official and e-commerce websites. At the same time, the sale of OnePlus 12 will start from January 30. Booking for both the devices has been started. There are some offers available on OnePlus 12 series and Buds 3. This includes a cashback of Rs 1,000 for ICICI Credit Card and OneCard customers. No-cost EMI option and benefits worth Rs 2,250 are available for the new OnePlus phone.

OnePlus 12R has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 2780×1264 resolution. It is equipped with an LTPO 4.0 panel with Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, 4500 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It works with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Processor
For performance, the smartphone has been provided with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is last year’s flagship processor.
RAM and storage
The phone comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Camera
For photography, a triple camera setup has been provided on the back panel of the device. It includes Sony IMX890 50MP primary sensor, 112-degree 8MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro lens. At the same time, a 16MP front camera is available for selfie.
Battery and Charging
For power backup, the smartphone has a 5500mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC charging. The company claims that it charges from 1-100% in just 26 minutes. This is the largest battery ever installed in a OnePlus phone.
Software
The OnePlus 12R runs Android 14-based ColorOS 14.0 out-of-the-box.
