The company announced on Chinese social media site Weibo that the OnePlus Ace 5 series will be launched in China on December 12 at 2:30 pm local time (12:00 noon Indian time). OnePlus’ Weibo post states that the OnePlus Ace 5 will bring a leading mobile game experience and its gaming performance has the courage to change the world.
OnePlus recently shared the first images of the OnePlus Ace 5, showing its flat display, thin bezels and a hole-punch cutout for the selfie shooter. It is expected to have a metal middle frame.
Features of OnePlus Ace 5 series
It is also said that the base OnePlus Ace 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Pro variant will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is likely to feature a 6.82-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage. It may have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera. The phone is also expected to get an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Pro model is likely to have 100W fast charging support.
