Bangladesh Pakistan Flight: Relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan are getting stronger. The High Commissioner of Bangladesh announced the start of direct flights between the two countries. The flights will pass over India.

Islamabad: After the removal of Sheikh Hasina from power, Bangladesh and Pakistan are now coming very close. To strengthen bilateral relations, Pakistan has now taken a big decision. The High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Pakistan has announced plans to start direct flights between the two countries. According to the report of Pakistani news outlet Express Tribune, Mohammad Iqbal Hussain said this in a press conference in Peshawar on Saturday. During this time, the flight between the two countries will pass through many cities of India.

Currently, there is no direct flight between India and Pakistan. Due to this, people going from India to Pakistan have to first go to Dubai and then from there to Pakistan. At the same time, people coming to India from Pakistan also have to choose the Dubai route. However, if a flight from New Delhi is going to Europe or Central Asia, it passes over Pakistan. Similarly, Pakistan can also ask for airspace from India for its flights.

What will be the route of Bangladesh-Pakistan flight

Hussain emphasized the deep and historical relations between the two countries and expressed hope for the start of direct flights to facilitate travel and connectivity. It is not clear when this flight will start. Talking about the route of flights flying from Dhaka to Islamabad, it will pass over West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Lucknow and other cities of UP, New Delhi, Haryana and Punjab in India. Whereas if the flight is going from Dhaka to Karachi, then it will pass over Rajasthan instead of Punjab.

Trade going on between Bangladesh and Pakistan

The Bangladesh High Commissioner also emphasized on the growing trade and diplomatic relations between the two countries and said that these will continue to grow stronger. Apart from this, Hussain pointed to the huge investment opportunities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially in the healthcare and industrial sectors. He also mentioned the demand for Bangladeshi goods in Pakistan and said that trade is going on between the two countries through the shipping route connecting Chittagong and Karachi. The High Commissioner discussed the upcoming elections in Bangladesh and reiterated the country’s focus on economic development.
