PAN-Aadhaar Linking: If you are also one of those people who have not yet linked their Aadhaar Card and PAN Card, then today is your last chance. Today, June 30, 2023 is the last day to link Aadhaar card and PAN card (PAN-Aadhaar Linking Last Date). Tomorrow i.e. from July 1, 2023, if there is no link, your PAN card will become inactive. If there is a problem in the online linking of PAN-Aadhaar, it can also be done offline from the PAN Service Center of NSDL and UTITSL. What if there is no PAN-Aadhaar link?
If the PAN card is not linked to the Aadhaar card, then first of all your PAN card will be declared inactive. On the other hand, you will not be able to file ITR through inactive PAN and your pending returns will not be processed. Not only this, your pending refunds will also not be issued. Pending proceedings cannot be completed after the PAN card becomes inactive and your tax deduction will also be at a higher rate.
Then how to link PAN-Aadhaar?

How to link PAN-Aadhaar online?
- Open the income tax e-filing portal by visiting this link- https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/.
- If not already registered then register. Your PAN number (Permanent Account Number) will be your user ID.
- Now login by entering your User ID, Password and Date of Birth.
- A pop up window will appear, on which you will be asked to link PAN with Aadhaar. If it does not come then go to ‘Profile Settings’ and click on ‘Link Aadhaar’.
- Now the date of birth and gender details entered on the PAN will already be visible here.
- Now match these details with your Aadhaar details. If this detail does not match in both the documents, then you will have to correct the one which is wrong.
- If the details are matching, then enter your Aadhaar number and click on the “link now” button.
- A pop-up message will appear, letting you know that your PAN has been linked with Aadhaar card.
- You can also visit https://www.utiitsl.com/ or https://www.egov-nsdl.co.in/ to link your PAN with Aadhaar.

- Type UIDPAN on your phone.
- Enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number.
- Then write the 10 digit PAN number.
- Now send the message to 567678 or 56161.
