New Delhi. The central government has extended the deadline for linking PAN card with Aadhaar card from 30 June 2021 to 30 September 2021. Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur gave this information.
Let us tell you that if you do not link PAN and Aadhaar by the deadline, then the PAN card will become inoperative. That means it won’t work. Such people will not be able to do financial transactions where PAN is required to be mentioned. Apart from this, a fine will also have to be paid.
Those who spend on corona treatment will get tax exemption,
While in order to further strengthen the fight against corona, Anurag Thakur has made a big announcement about giving tax exemption. He said that this exemption will be given to those people who have spent money in the treatment of corona.
The Minister of State for Finance said, “If an employer has spent on the Kovid treatment of his employee, then that employee will not have to pay any tax. If after the death of someone, the employer gives the exgratia amount to his employee, then there will be a tax exemption for that person.
