If you do not have a reserved ticket, you will not be able to travel to Haridwar. The railway has made this arrangement for the festival bath in February. In addition, devotees coming for the baths must have a negative report of a 72-hour RTPCR investigation. Devotees coming to Haridwar by bus and private vehicle will have to show a negative report of the RTPCR investigation on the state’s border. Passengers who do not have a negative report will be returned. Local devotees are exempted from the obligation of negative reports of Corona.
There is Mauni Amavasya on February 11, Vasant Panchami on 16 and Magha Purnima on February 27, before the royal bath of Mahakumbh to be held in Haridwar. Given the Kovid bath is safe, the center’s SOP is being followed. The Uttarakhand government and the railway administration are also working in coordination.
