In the latest Henley Passport Index, a total of 6 countries have got the first position in the list of most powerful passports in the world. Citizens of these countries have the facility of visa free or visa on arrival in 194 countries of the world. In this list, India has moved up 3 places from 83rd position in the year 2023 and has got 80th rank. If we talk about neighboring country Pakistan, it has got 101st position. The Henley Passport Index has been released based on the data of the International Air Transport Association. In this list, Japan and Singapore were at the top position for the last 5 years but this time Europe has done wonders. France, Germany, Italy, Spain have topped the list. Whereas Finland and Sweden have got second place along with South Korea. Citizens of these countries can visit 193 countries without visa. Austria, Denmark, Ireland and Netherlands have got third place in the list.

India’s dominance increases, Pakistan’s condition worsens

While Britain has got the fourth position, superpowers America and Canada have got the seventh position. Citizens of these countries can visit 188 countries without visa. Afghanistan has got the lowest position in this list whose citizens can visit visa free only in 28 countries. At the same time, the condition of Pakistan has become worse than Yemen where Houthi rebels are ruling. Pakistan has got 101st position. In the year 2023, Pakistan was ranked 101st. The condition of Pakistani citizens is such that most of the beggars in the world are Pakistanis. The government of Pakistan itself has accepted this. Yemen, the country of Houthis, has got 100th position.

This is the reason why many Gulf countries keep sending back Pakistanis. China has got 62nd place in this list. Talking about India, it has got 80th position in this latest list. Indian citizens can visit 62 countries visa free. India’s ranking has improved. Along with India, Uzbekistan has also got 80th position. The 62 countries where Indian citizens can visit visa free include Barbados, Fiji, Bhutan, Maldives, Togo, Senegal etc. Indians can stay in these countries without visa for 1 week to 3 months.
