How to apply online-

- For this you have to go to https://www.passportindia.gov.in/ website. First of all, you have to register yourself here by visiting this website and with this the process of online application starts.
- After registration, you will have to fill your general information like name, address, mobile number, correct date of birth and e-mail ID mentioned in the documents being attached. Apart from this, you will also have to give information about your nearest passport office.
- After filling the general information, you go to the option of Passport Seva and click on the option of Continue. After this click on the option of Apply for Fresh Passport/Reissue of Passport.
- After this, after clicking on the option of Click Here To Fill, go to the next page and fill the information being asked from you there accurately and carefully.
- After this, you have to click on the submit option and then submit your application. By going to the given option, you have to take an appointment of your nearest passport office.
- After this, you will also have to deposit the prescribed fee for the application through online mode only.
- After completing the application process, download or take a print out of the PDF of the complete application along with the application fee.
- After this, on the day you have an appointment at the nearest passport office, reach the office with the certificate, your identity card and other necessary documents to verify the date of birth and complete the further process to be done there.
