Paytm cashback offers: Digital payment platform Paytm said on Friday that on the occasion of completion of six years of Digital India, the company will launch a cashback program for consumers and merchants, for which Rs 50 crore has been earmarked. Paytm said in a statement that as part of the offer, it will offer cashback to merchants and consumers in India for every transaction made through the Paytm app. The program will be launched in 200 districts across the country with special drives in Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The offer is applicable for merchants across India, while special activities will be organized at the grassroots level in more than 200 districts of the country to train merchants for digitization and reward them for growth on adoption of cashless payments. Dedicated teams will be formed to increase the adoption of digital modes among traders in Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Apart from launching the guaranteed cashback offer, the company is also offering soundbox and IoT devices. The company is committed to provide Rs 50 crore this year for the program which will uplift over 20 million merchants who use Paytm in their everyday lives.

As part of this offer, Paytm has announced a cashback program for every transaction made through the Paytm App for merchants and customers in India. The merchants with the highest number of transactions through the Paytm app before Diwali will be awarded with a certificate to be the top merchant along with a free soundbox, IoT device and many more.
Guaranteed cashback for six months
Those customers will also get cashback for every transaction who will scan the Paytm QR code in the stores to pay through the Paytm app. The guaranteed cashback offer will last for six months. Taking its commitment forward, Paytm will offer its soundbox to eligible merchants with 50% discount through its Paytm for Business app. To encourage merchants to adopt digital payments, which has been mandated by the government, Paytm has already enabled zero MDR on QR for UPI, Wallet and Rupay cards.
