Pension Increased: Government of this state increased pension of elderly, widows and farmers

Rajasthan government’s budget was presented on Wednesday. In this budget, the pension amount given to small farmers, widows, single women and many other people has been increased.

Pension Increased: The budget of the Rajasthan government was presented on Wednesday. During this time, a provision has been made in the budget to increase the amount of pension given to the elderly, widows, single women along with small-marginal farmers and disabled people. The Rajasthan government has increased the pension amount of all these to Rs 1250 per month.

Rajasthan’s finance minister made this announcement while presenting the budget on Wednesday. Finance minister Diya Kumari announced that the pension given to single women, widows, elderly, small-marginal farmers and disabled people has been increased in the budget. She said that provision has been made in the budget for this increased pension. In this way, along with farmers and women, elderly and disabled people will get relief.

Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari presented this second full budget of the Bhajanlal government in the House, in which the budget estimates for the year 2025-26 have a revenue deficit of Rs 31 thousand nine crore 41 lakh and a fiscal deficit of Rs 84 thousand 643 crore 63 lakh. In this, the budget estimates for the year 2025-26 have a revenue expenditure of three lakh 25 thousand 545 crore 90 lakh rupees and revenue receipts of two lakh 94 thousand 536 crore 49 lakh rupees. Diya Kumari said in her budget speech that the GSDP is estimated to increase to more than Rs 19 lakh 89 thousand crore in the year 2025-26.

The Finance Minister said that drinking water ‘connections’ will be provided to 2 lakh more houses and Rs 400 crore will be spent on this initiative. He also announced the supply of piped gas to 1.25 lakh houses. Kumari said the state government will build nine greenfield expressways at a cost of Rs 60,000 crore. She said the state government has fulfilled 58 per cent of the promises made in the election manifesto and 73 per cent of the announcements made in the last budget.
