UP government increased pension
The UP government has now opened its treasury for widowed women. The Yogi government has doubled the amount of pension given to old, disabled and widowed women. Now you will get 500 to 1000 rupees more in the amount of pension you will get every month.
Gets 1000 rupees pension
Let us tell you that earlier in UP, under the Widow Pension Scheme, women used to get an amount of Rs 500, but after that the government increased the pension amount. Now women get financial assistance of Rs 1000 instead of Rs 500.
Who can apply in this scheme-
- Widow women of any age can now apply for this.
- Yogi Adityanath government has removed the limit of women getting pension. Widow women of any age can apply in this pension scheme.
- It is necessary for the applicant woman to have a residence certificate of Uttar Pradesh.
- If the applicant woman marries second after the death of her husband, then she will not be considered eligible for this scheme.
- The children of the applicant woman should not be adults, even if they are adults, they should not be able to maintain.
What documents will be needed
The woman applying in this scheme should have a passport size photo. Apart from this, there should be an account in the bank. Income certificate, husband’s death certificate, Aadhaar number and residence certificate of Uttar Pradesh should also be there.
