PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana has been started to give pension to elderly farmers. Under this, after the age of 60 years, the beneficiaries will be given 3 thousand rupees every month as pension. According to this, the elderly farmers will get 36 thousand rupees annually. Youth above 18 years to 40 years of age can take advantage of this scheme. To get pension, they have to deposit money every month in this scheme according to their age.
3000 rupees pension will be given every month
Through the PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana, farmers are given a pension of Rs 3,000 every month. If you are a beneficiary of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, then your registration for PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana is done automatically. The premium for this scheme is deducted only from the amount received under Samman Nidhi. But, to do this you have to fill a form.
How much premium will have to be deposited?
In order to take advantage of PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana, farmers have to pay premium from the money received under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The amount of its premium ranges from Rs 55 to Rs 200. After the age of 60 years, the deduction of premium money stops and farmers start getting a pension of Rs 3,000 every month.
